Join us, as we go up to Jerusalem, the City of our King, to worship the King of Kings!

Itinerary 28 September to 10 October 2023:

Drive up along the Mediterranean coast to Caesarea. Visit the ICEJ Holocaust Survivor home in Haifa. Visit Mt Carmel where Elijah challenged the false prophets of Baal. Check in at the Royal Plaza in Tiberias and join the ICEJ for the opening evening of the Feast of Tabernacles celebrations.

Drive up to the Golan heights, Mount Bental, Caesarea Philippi and join the ICEJ celebrations in the evening.

Sail on a Jesus boat on the Sea of Galilee and have time of worship on the boat. Visit the ancient synagogue at Capernaum on the Sea of Galilee and Mt of Beatitudes where we meditate on these profound teachings of Yeshua/Jesus.  Drive down from the Galilee along the Jordan Valley.  Baptisms at the Jordan River. Check in at the Lutheran Guest House in the beautiful Old City of Jerusalem. Attend the ICEJ Parade of the Nations event.

Walk and pray on the walls of Jerusalem, visit the Jewish Quarter. Visit Yad Vashem Holocaust Centre. Free night to visit Ben Yuhuda and enjoy coffee on the streets of Jerusalem etc. Morning sessions at ICEJ.

Visit the Garden of Gethsemane and view the Eastern gate through which our Messiah will soon walk. Visit Caiaphas house and the dungeon where Jesus might have been held the night before his death. Visit the Garden tomb/communion service. Walk through Damascus gate and have lunch in the Old City. Visit the Pools of Bethesda and the Christian quarter. Evening event at the ICEJ Feast celebrations.

Check out of the Lutheran Guest House. Worship at Sukkat Hallal 24hr praise centre. Check into the Jerusalem Gardens and Spa. Meet rest of the South Africans to walk together in the Jerusalem March. Hotel for supper. Evening off – visit Ben Yuhuda for coffee.

Visit Shilo, site of first Tabernacle. Possible visits to other sites/settlement in Judea/Sameria (“West Bank”). Enjoy our last evening on the streets of Jerusalem

Visit the great Shul, City of David, Southern Steps of the Temple Mount and Hezekiah tunnel. Say farewell to Jerusalem from the Mt of olives, from where Yeshua ascended and to where he will return. Drive down to the Dead Sea. Visit Qumran where the Dead Sea scrolls were found. Check into the David Resort & Spa.

Visit the impressive Masada where King Herod built a fortress and where Eleazar led the last Jews in the revolt against the Romans. Visit the Ein Gedi reserve, where David hid from Saul and wrote many Psalms. 2nd night at the Dead Sea hotel

Check out of the Dead Sea Spa. Visit the Fountain of Tears (Messianic Jewish sculpture centre). Visit Abraham’s Tel at Beersheva. Drive down towards the Gaza border if safe and visit a kibbutz to understand living under constant rocket threat. Go back to Jerusalem in the Royal Jerusalem and spend the last night witnessing the Simchat Torah celebrations.

Free time to do final shopping or sites. Say farewell to Jerusalem from the Mt of olives, from where Yeshua ascended and to where he will return. Visit Jaffo on the coast for an early dinner before heading to airport.

Itinerary Oct 2019:

10th Thu Day 0 – Make sure we are all in Johannesburg the day before we leave.

11st Fri Day 1 – Get to the airport by 5.30am (meet at the Ethiopian check in counter, International  Departures).  Depart from Johannesburg at 8.20am. Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport, Tel Aviv at 9.10pm. Take bus for late check-in at Crowne Plaza Tel Aviv City Center.

12nd Sat Day 2 – Go for coffee & pastry breakfast in Tel Aviv.  Drive up along the Mediterranean coast to join a Messianic congregation on Mt Carmel for their worship service.  Visit Mt Carmel where Elijah challenged the false prophets of Baal.  Drive to the sea of Galilee to visit the  ancient synagogue at Capernaum and Mt of Beatitudes where we meditate on these profound teachings of Yeshua/Jesus.  Overnight in northern Galilee on the Nuriel Fruit & Guest House.

13rd Sun Day 3 – Go to Elrom where the battle referred to as the Valley of Tears took place.  Then on to Merom Golan to see the viewpoint into Syria.  Sail on a Jesus boat on the Sea of Galilee and  have worship time on the boat.  Drive down from the Galillee along the Jordan Valley. Baptisms at the Jordan River. Join the ICEJ for their desert Feast of Tabernacles celebrations at Ein Gedi. Drive up to Jerusalem for a late check in at the Ramada Hotel.

14th Mon Day 4 – Visit the great Shull.  Visit the Garden of Gethsemane. View the Eastern gate through  which Messiah will walk. Christ Church and visit the old city. Caiaphas house. Attend the evening Parade of the Nations event at the ICEJ celebration.

15th Tue Day 5 – Worship at Sukkat Hallal 24hr praise centre and then drive to Shiloh (Site of where Joshua set up 1st Tent of Meeting in Israel and where Samuel prophesied and judged Israel).   Visit Yad Vashem Holocaust Centre. Free evening (Enjoy a coffee on Ben Yehuda street).

16th Wed Day 6 – Morning sessions at the ICEJ. Afternoon. Attend the Daniel production. Supper at  hotel.  Attend the evening sessions of the ICEJ (Brother Yun from China is speaking).

17th Thu Day 7 – Time off in Jerusalem to visit/shop Lunch at the renowned Shuk (market) off Ben   Yehuda.  Meet rest of the South Africans to walk together in the Jerusalem March, hotel for supper. Free evening (Enjoy a coffee on Ben Yehuda street).

18th Fri Day 8 – Check out of the Ramada hotel.  Go to the Garden Tomb where we have a special time  of communion with the group. Visit the City of David and the Western Wall.  Stand on the Mt of olives from where Yeshua ascended and to which he will return.  Check in to the amazing David Dead Sea (optional visit to Masada where King Herod built an impressive fortress and where Eleazar led the last Jews in the revolt against the Romans – otherwise float in the Dead Sea)

19th Sat Day 9 – Float in the Dead Sea.  Check out.  On the way back, visit the Fountain of Tears  sculpture centre and then visit a kibbutz near Gaza border if safe. Say farewell on Tel Aviv beach/Jaffa.  Get to airport by 8pm for early checkin.

20th Sun Day 10 – Fly at 1am in the morning – arrive in Johannesburg at 1.05pm

Excludes: Return flights ex Johannesburg to Tel Aviv, fuel levies and taxes (Currently R 6,400 on Ethiopian Air), lunch each day and dinner on final evening
